At Surf Big Hawaii, we take a unique approach to teaching surfing. Before getting in the water, we provide extensive training on our mechanical board at the store. This allows us to analyze your tendencies and guide you in correcting them from a biomechanical perspective while understanding the Physics of how a board moves in the water. By grasping the Physics and Philosophy of surfing, you can progress through the learning process more efficiently. Our goal is to help you conserve energy by avoiding repeated attempts to catch waves unsuccessfully, ensuring you catch as many waves as possible during your session. Join us for a personalized surf lesson where we delve deep into the techniques of professional surfing. Our experienced instructors provide one-on-one instruction, ensuring that you receive all the attention and guidance you need to improve your skills in the water. Disclaimer:- Disclaimer:- We cannot control the weather, the waves can either be too BIG or too Small at the specified time of the lesson. Mother nature can change RAPIDLY and is ultimately in charge of the schedule, therefore you need to FLEXIBLE we will reschedule your lesson for a better time of day or another day. If you choose not to accept, we will administer a 50% refund. It is BEST to schedule your lesson at the BEGINNING of the stay in Hawaii to allow for weather variations. If you book it for the last day of your vacation and HOPE that it will work, it probably will NOT before you have to leave Hawaii. "No Show Policy":- If we mutually confirmed your reservation by text, phone or email and secured by a valid credit card and you are UNABLE to make the appointment, you will be charged the full amount. We require a minimum of 24 hour notice PRIOR to the appt. time for a 100% refund. Since we scheduled our instructors and blocked your time slot so that no one else may use it.
